Kitchen plumbing is set out against a plan that hasn't been built yet, so it pays to be pedantic: services brought up inside the right carcass, waste at a fall that will still work once the units are levelled, isolation on everything so a future appliance swap doesn't mean draining down. We work to the fitter's programme and get out of their way.
Kitchen refits are usually when the boiler ends up somewhere else and the cooker point moves. Both are gas work and both are ours — reroute, flue, connection and testing, certified and left correct rather than extended with whatever was on the van.
